Member, Alistair, named as an Ascender in international design competition

Typeface designer, Alistair McCready, is among 25 individuals across 13 countries named as an Ascender by The Type Directors Club of New York. This competition celebrates upcoming young type designers and typographers worldwide.

Alistair has been a member at The Hangar since June last year, where he owns and operates a storytelling and typographic design practice under the moniker Monolith. He has created working typefaces both locally and internationally for eminent companies, including NBC Universal, Cadbury and FIFA.
